A customer brought me a PlayStation 5 that was still overheating even after being serviced by another repair shop. If your PS5 suddenly shuts down, displays overheating warnings, or becomes too hot to use, you know how frustrating that can be. After paying for a repair, the last thing you want is to have the same problem continue.

During my inspection, I found that the power supply was packed with dust and debris that was restricting airflow. The heatsink also needed additional cleaning. Liquid metal, an important thermal compound for cooling in PS5’s, also checked and corrected. Once everything was properly cleaned and serviced, the overheating issue was resolved, and the console was running normally again.
